Feedback form settings that you must know

Here we have listed some of the unique features or settings inside feedback forms that often get overlooked.

1. Form Link

You can customize your form link inside the form setup. By default, it is based on your organization’s name, but we recommend keeping it short & relatable to your brand or form type.

2. Image inside form description

Creative thinking has no limits! You can insert interesting images asking for reviews or thanking users for reviewing inside the form with just a few clicks.

3. Prevent negative reviews

You can customize the rating threshold below which feedback is captured in the private feedback channel. You can also enable/disable it from form setup page.

4. The hidden form

Many businesses don’t feel the need to prevent negative reviews via forms. They can simply select “Review Sites” in the form type and enable auto-redirect to directly send users to the review site, skipping one step.

5. AI Review Assistant

Let AI write the review for your customers based on their experience. It’s a premium plan feature where customers answer a few questions defined by you, and AI writes a review based on their answers. Just a few clicks and their review is ready.

6. Notify staff upon negative review

You can simply add Feedback Recipients who need to be notified whenever you receive any negative feedback. Cause negative feedbacks need to be resolved before they damage your public reputation.

7. Custom fields in private feedback form

You can add or customize fields as per your business’s internal requirements to improve the quality of private feedback.

8. Auto redirect positive reviewers

You can enable auto-redirect only if you have a single review site connected with your feedback form. If you have more than one review site selected inside the feedback form, then the customer will see options for where they want to post a review.

9. Deep link to directly open apps on devices

The deep link feature allows auto-open of related apps on user’s mobile device. For example, for GBP, it will open Google Maps app on the user’s device (if present).

10. Design & custom CSS

From the appearance tab inside the feedback form, you can select different form styles, define colors, etc., to suit your brand. Advanced users can also use custom CSS to fine-tune form design as per their needs.
